We live in a world full of advanced technological inventions that we find useful and convenient for our daily lives. Over the past couple of decades, technology has simply become an essential part of our lives, whether we realize it or not.
One could easily overlook the fact that technology has made our living easier, more enjoyable and more productive because it’s always been there. However, that doesn’t make it any less of a fact. If you take a moment to think about the way technology impacts our lives, you’ll probably come to the conclusion that all that glitters is not gold.
Impact Of Technology On Our Society
They say technology improved our lives, but is it possible this technological rapid growth to be completely harmless? Using tech gadgets on a daily basis to have no flaws? While there’s no denying that many of us are highly dependent on technology, it is important to note that technology can both have a positive and a negative impact on our daily lives in all possible aspects.
Technology’s contributions to making our lives easier, more convenient, and more pleasant have resulted in making us lazier too – a side effect that cannot be prevented. In addition to this article, we look closely at the positive and the negative impact of technology on our lives.

Positive Impacts of Technology
If we were writing all the positive impacts of technology, that would take us about 10 years of searching, researching and writing to include literally everything. But that doesn’t mean that we can note some of the most significant changes that occurred in our lives due to technology advances.
One of the absolute most significant technological advances is the Internet. The Internet is a specific sort of technology that changed our lives completely. Just think about it, the Internet allowed us to communicate with people around the world and get all the information we seek.

These technological advances help us to overcome the only obstacles (time and space) that stand in our way of meeting other cultures, other people from around the world, maintain family relationships, communicate conveniently with anyone, anywhere and better one’s social skills.
Many of us cannot imagine our lives without computers or the Internet, because we’re so full of technology that we take for granted and never actually notice its impact. That is until we find ourselves without our phone, electricity, water or transport.
If you’re wondering how does technology affect our society, it’s definitely positive. Thanks to technology, we’re able to reconnect with old high-school friends who now live on the other side of the planet. Also, it’s easier to keep in touch with our friends when we’re on a tight schedule because of our school or work. But the use of this technological advance is far greater and more important that one can imagine.

The Internet allows any person to get any sort of information they’re looking for from anywhere in the world. With any information being only a click away, education has never been more available and more affordable to every person.
We are able to learn new things, new languages, new skills and take online courses in your comfortable chair at home. It is even possible to take webinar courses and attain a degree online, just as any other student who’s attending classes on campus.
The impact of technology on education and on society is deep and it doesn’t necessarily mean it is harmful. The way you use technology to achieve a goal or complete task results in either a positive or negative impact of technology.
Besides these few aspects, technology has immensely influenced every possible aspect of our lives with the only goal of making our lives easier, more comfortable and more enjoyable.

Negative Impacts of Technology
Today’s families are completely different than the ones from the past. The impact of technology on 21st-century families is bending the whole concept of parenthood. With many parents today dependent on technology to make their lives faster and more convenient, their children are also turning into tech-addicts at a very young age.
Technology is now their favorite way of playing and though their parents probably know that it is a way to limit their creativity and wild imagination, they’d rather not see them crying and give them what they want than letting them cry for a while and raising a creative child who can turn out to be a true tech genius.
And when the time for school comes, children enter school with lack of self-regulation and attention skills to eventually become a problem for the teachers.
The four necessary factors of proper child’s development are a human connection, exposure to nature, touch and movement. Technology ain’t one, but it surely is an obstacle for children to experience the four necessary factors for proper development. And don’t get me started on the violence that’s present in many video games, which are easily available to them.

Why Should You Have a Strong Connection in Your Business?
The young and undeveloped bodies and minds of children are not ready to handle such high levels of stress and adrenaline. They can’t even recognize if it’s real or not.
Misuse of technology can expose children to a variety of safety and privacy risks. Children who use tech gadgets connected on the Internet are very likely to unknowingly share information that is not to be shared and put themselves in danger.
In a significant percentage of online s*x crimes against children, the s*x offenders used social networks to get information on their victims and lure them into their reach.
Another important aspect that needs to be addressed is the possible health threats from daily use of smartphones, laptops, computers or other tech gadgets. It’s easy to get lost in a sea of information and social networking and get stuck on a chair in the same body posture for hours.
